Sumitomo officials led by Mr. Kanaoka paid a visit to the Health Management Center of Jinhua Rehabilitation Hospital and Baiyueju on Oct. 12, expressing amazement at the advanced medical equipment and the warm, comfortable hospital environment.

Japan is a global leader in the aged care industry, with rich experience in aged care service and precision management & operation of health care institutions. SHIP, one of Sumitomo’s associates, runs multiple medical & aged care institutions in Japan. The visit enabled Jinhua Rehabilitation Hospital to share experience with its international counterpart and to lay the foundation for further cooperation with Sumitomo.

Kicked off in Dec. 2017, Jinhua Rehabilitation Hospital is the first specialized rehabilitation home launched by Baikun Health Management (BHM) and has since offered a comprehensive range of professional rehabilitative care services for people in Jinhua and surrounding communities. A new component added recently to the hospital, Baiyueju is the first of its kind launched locally as an innovative dual-purpose retirement home to combine rehabilitation with aged care. Drawing on the mature operational system and special resources of the rehabilitation hospital, Baiyueju provides old people in different conditions with basic care as well as specialized medical service, including self care, nursing care or full care.
