President of Far East Horizon Announced New Year's Wishes for 2020
Time flies, 2019 was history, and we are about to enter the third decade of the 21st century. On the occasion of the new year, on behalf of the Far East Horizon management, I would like to express new year greetings and best wishes to all Far East people and all social parties.
In 2019, we were in an increasingly complex, changeable and depressed economic environment. The pressure and challenges have increased dramatically. It was hard to hear which company has passed 2019 easily, such as the bleak vegetation in winter. The financial industry was like a ship in the wind and waves, with double risks. The Far East Horizon, which lied in it, was enveloped by the environment and has experienced a lot. In order not to insult the mission, the Far East people were more focused than ever before. In order to complete every single business, do a good job in every service, look after every patient and teach every student well, we have taken on a higher intensity of work, overcome more inner anxiety, worked more diligently and completed the performance target after 365 days of hard work. We have maintained double-digit growth and the strength of the company has increased steadily. We have improved our ranking in the Forbes Global 2000 and Fortune China 500 lists. At a time when China's economy is experiencing ups and downs, Fitch, one of the three major international rating agencies, has upgraded its Far East Horizon International rating outlook to "Stable" and continues to favor the company's long-term development.
Unconsciously, it has been 18 years since the Far East moved south to start its own business. In the past 18 years, we have grown from an unknown financial leasing company to a comprehensive operation service company that continuously led the development of the industry and spanned finance and industry. It could be said that it was difficult to start a business. If we wanted to sum up the valuable experience of the 18 years of development in the Far East, the most important were two things:
First, our team has always maintained the military style of daring to overcome difficulties and challenge itself, and has gradually developed into a unique team culture of Far East people, which we call "Far East Spirit". That is: the determination to pursue truth, the rigorous and pragmatic style of work, the innovative ideas, the courage to face hardships, the indomitable will, the responsibility of the world in mind, and the courage to be the first in the world. This is the essence of our team. Without the spirit of the Far East, Far East people will no longer be Far East people, and our dreams and career for the future will be impossible to talk about.
Second, our company has never forgotten the essence of the enterprise, which is to continuously, effectively and continuously increase value creation. The mission of the Far East is to organize a group of elite officers who agree with the values of the "Far East Spirit" to create value for shareholders, customers, partners, employees, government and other social parties in a legal, compliant and reasonable way. It has become a magnet for absorbing resources from all parties. The goal of seeking resources is constantly needed by all parties in the society. This is the soul of the Far East. Once we no longer create value, our team will no longer have the spirit of the Far East, and we will lose the reason for our existence.
These two points are the foundation for the Far East to settle down and live in. They are the creed of the Far East people, who must defend them whenever and wherever they are. Therefore, at a time when the economic environment is deteriorating and market competition is becoming increasingly brutal, revisiting the spirit of the Far East and recasting the soul of the Far East are the directions we must adhere to when seeking future development. Facing the future, people in the Far East should continue to carry out self-transformation, stimulate a fuller Far East spirit, and stick to the essence of enterprise value creation more effectively.
At the business level, we will continue to innovate the business operation system, accelerate the liberation of our own productivity, ensure that the business formation and management system resonate with the external environment at the same frequency, keep up with the trend of industrial upgrading and change, innovate the resource organization and operation mode, and provide customers with more efficient, convenient, diversified and differentiated financial services. We also need to accelerate the optimization of the management system of hospital group, Horizon Construction Development Group and other industrial businesses, increase the release of financial value, and make it a strong support for the development of the Far East.
At the team level, we also need to promote the reform of the employment mechanism and create a more fair, just and open career platform. Taking value visualization as a link and marketization as a criterion, the company's advantageous resources will be tilted to employees with stronger value creation ability, so that all employees can get good treatment for effective work. We should forge good soldiers and strong generals, create a team atmosphere in which everyone is more courageous and aggressive, and welcome more talents with ability and values to join the Far East with a more open attitude.
2019 was far away. In 2020, the 18-year-old Far East will step into a new journey, enter a more rational adult stage and accelerate its self-evolution. I'm afraid there will be no more days when things are going well in the future. Far East people should maintain a calm and persistent attitude, be modest and fearless, be prepared to climb mountains, bear hardships and stand hard work, continuously improve themselves and continuously create value.
Success belongs to the persevering and working hard. We are not outstanding enough. Only by continuing our struggle and embracing our mission of value creation can we become stronger and have the ability to look forward to bigger undertakings and dreams. We are a group of ordinary people. Only by continuing to struggle and not forgetting the spirit of the Far East, can we choose an ideal life, benefit our families and realize the value of life. The success of any career depends not on others but on oneself. Since we chose the distance, we only care about going forward.
