The signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation agreement between Far East Horizon and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank (SPD BANK) was held in Shanghai Far East Horizon Plaza on September 16. Kong Fanxing, Vice Chairman, Executive Director of the Board and CEO of Far East Horizon, and Wang Sunan, Party Secretary and President of SPD BANK Shanghai Branch, attended and witnessed the event. Wang Mingzhe, Executive Director and CFO of Far East Horizon and Lu Wei, Vice President of SPD BANK Shanghai Branch, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.

Since the establishment of partnerships in 2003, both parties have worked together to deepen cooperation. This signing marks an important milestone in cooperation between Far East Horizon and SPD BANK for years and a new stage of cooperation. The two sides will fully leverage their respective strengths to make due contributions to high-quality development of China’s real economy.

At the signing ceremony, CEO Kong Fanxing expressed his sincere thanks to SPD BANK for its ongoing support. Mr. Kong said that he expected both parties to join forces to serve the whole country from their base in Shanghai, use financial means to help urban and industrial upgrading with focus on large-scale manufacturing, consumption, infrastructure and health, and score new achievements in the new paradigm and environment of economic and social development.

SPD BANK has unique advantages in investment banking, M&A, free trade, offshore business, inclusive technology and green finance. It is expected that both parties will play to respective strengths and continue to optimize the cooperation model on the basis of previous good cooperation as a way to achieve win-win results.
