On March 16, the 2021 Annual Performance Announcement Meeting of Far East Horizon was successfully convened, attended by Kong Fanxing (Vice Chairman of the Board, Executive Director and CEO of Far East Horizon), Wang Mingzhe (Executive Director and CFO of Far East Horizon) and Zhang Chunyu (Executive Director and CEO of Horizon Construction Development). Despite the complexity and volatility of the current market, the Company continues to consolidate its strategic foundation, and hits another milestone in performance, with asset size reaching 335.9 billion yuan and pretax profit exceeding 10 billion yuan, which fully demonstrates the tenacious vitality of model iteration.

Stationed in Shanghai 24/7 with Equal Attention Paid to Epidemic Prevention and Operation

At present, epidemic prevention and emergency response has entered the most critical stage in Shanghai. Facing the complex, formidable and recurring epidemic situation, Far East Horizon resolutely implements the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech about epidemic prevention and control by paying equal attention to epidemic prevention and operation, fully supports the orderly operation of business, and strives to guarantee the work and life of employees. 04.Horizon Construction Investment Won Bid to a Key People’s Livelihood Project of Deyang, Sichuan Province

On March 22, Shanghai Horizon Construction Investment Co., Ltd. and China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Group Co., Ltd. jointly won the bid to the ecological restoration and functional improvement project involving both sides of Jing Lake, Donghu Mountain, and Culture and Entertainment City of Deyang, Sichuan Province. With a total investment of 1.859 billion yuan and a cooperation term of 20 years, it is a key people’s livelihood project of Deyang City. Horizon Construction Investment will continue to exploit its advantages in financial capital guarantee and industry operation resources, to create a comprehensive recreation and entertainment platform for the convenience and benefit of the citizens of Deyang and serve urban upgrade and construction of projects related to people’s livelihood even better.

Dedicated to the research and development of China’s homemade tools in the field of cell and gene therapy, Sino-Biocan is a leading domestic enterprise capable of providing total solutions to cell preparation tools. Pioneer of Clinical Mass Spectrometry Who Received RMB 100 Million in Series C Financing

Recently, Shandong Yingsheng Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (“Yingsheng Biology”), a pioneer of clinical mass spectrometry, announced the completion of a Series C financing of nearly RMB 100 million, led by existing shareholder CD Capital and GL Ventures, followed by Team Grow, Zhongjin Qiyuan Fund, Taiping Healthcare Fund and Jingming Capital, and then followed up by existing shareholder Yuanbio Venture Capital, Sunz Fund and Huimei Capital. Yingsheng Biology is a domestic leading provider of one-stop solutions to clinical mass spectrometry as well as a high-tech enterprise integrating R&D, production, sales and third-party medical testing services. According to the person in charge of the project at Team Grow, Far East Horizon has been working in the field of big health for over 20 years, and Team Grow will take this as an opportunity to promote the application of mass-spectrum diagnosis in the medical ecosystem of Far East Horizon. 

 
08.Grand Opening of Another Member Hospital of Horizon Healthcare—The Fifth Hospital of Deyang, Zhongjiang Branch

March 23 witnessed the grand opening of The Fifth Hospital of Deyang, Zhongjiang Branch—a member hospital of Horizon Healthcare. After four years of elaborate preparation, The Fifth Hospital of Deyang, Zhongjiang Branch began trail operation in November 2021. Through more than 3 months of good operation, the hospital has gradually perfected its operation system to properly satisfy the multi-leveled medical needs of the local people. 09.20% Oxford/Cambridge Acceptance Rate for 3 Years in a Row!
Horizon Education’s Overseas Flagship High School Became the Dark Horse among British Private High Schools

This March, Horizon Education’s overseas flagship high school—The National Mathematics and Science College—harvested a great many offers from Oxford University and Cambridge University just like before. One fifth of its graduates were pre-admitted to the chemistry, physics, mathematics and natural science programs of Oxford University and Cambridge University, thus maintaining the 20% rate of acceptance by Oxford/Cambridge University for the third consecutive year. As for American and Canadian universities, its students also received offers from world-famous universities including UCLA, Pennsylvania State University and University of Toronto.
 

The National Mathematics and Science College also achieved excellent results in academic competition this spring: two students received Top Gold Award in the British Physics Olympiad, and the school team won the grand championship in the Cambridge Chemistry Race. Due to its outstanding academic performance and college acceptance rate, The National Mathematics and Science College made it to the list of Top 10 British private high schools in just 5 years, and in 2021 it was even rated by the British education media as the “best STEM school in Britain.”
